Past Shows- 2024:

September 28 & 29

Respectrum Arts LLC volunteered with the Sussex-Wantage Historical Society to put on their first ever art show entitled, ‘Structures’ in September. The show drove more patrons to the museum that is new to Sussex Borough having opened in March of 2024. The show had two rooms of art that presented artist renditions of structures that help define the surrounding community. Artists were afforded 100% of sales with donations to the historical society welcome.

October 25th & 26th

‘Wading Through’ was a retrospective painting show of 20 years of paintings by Stephen Denman. It was open Friday October 25th and Saturday October 26th from 5pm-10pm. The show was a part of Respectrum Arts residency at ‘For Agnes & Harriet: Creative Studio’ located at 24-28 Main Street, Sussex New Jersey. On Saturday night at 7:30 our friend, ‘TheWriter86’ aka Tim Ruiz (also a Sussex Borough resident) provided some of his latest musical originals! Both were sponsored in part by NORWESCAP.

NOVEMBER 1st, 2nd, 3rd:

‘Wading Through…more’ was a continuing retrospective art show of 20 years of paintings by Stephen Denman. Previously unshown paintings, the artists’ more recent paintings and write-ups about the work were added for this second weekend of the show. It was open Friday November 1st and Saturday November 2nd from 5pm-10pm. Also Open Sunday the 3rd from 1pm-5pm. The show was a part of Respectrum Arts residency at ‘For Agnes & Harriet: Creative Studio’ located at 24-28 Main Street, Sussex New Jersey, and was sponsored in part by NORWESCAP. It was FREE and open to the public.

Past Shows 2018 – 2020:

RESPECTRUM ARTS LLC was proud to host a gallery on Main Street in Sussex New Jersey from 2018 through the beginning of Co-ViD shutdowns in 2020. It is now creating and participating in pop-up art happenings throughout the TriState region.

Before that, the founder of Respectrum Arts helped curate shows in Western New York and the Boston Metro region.

We will be creating a retrospective of the shows and happenings on this site, as time affords.

At some point, this website will become the home of RESPECTRUM Arts Forum, a periodical devoted to American arts and culture- past, present and future. The online magazine will focus on finding fresh voices and unique stories overlooked by the copy-paste industry that is web reporting currently.

We are as excited about this venture as the tangible gallery, with hopes that this creates an even broader audience for RESPECTRUM artists!

It is our hope to continue curating shows and to feature some great places to see art!
